چکیده

This paper presents an analysis of sound pressure levels through theoretical modeling and experimental validation in a 1 kW small wind turbine. The models used the are BPM (Brooks, Pope, Marcolini) BM (Brooks Marcolini), where turbine blades divided sections, each section has its own contribution with respect to total emitted level. noise propagation study were accomplished within requirements standard IEC 61400-11 Ed.3 NOM-081-SEMARNAT-1994. comparative results showed that methods have maximum error 5.5% corresponding rated speed 10 m/s. However, at low speeds, fit well data, for example, range from 5 8 data rotor’s aerodynamic is more evident speed, because under these conditions, environmental much less than noise. Finally, prevent possible negative effects on people’s health, there recommended minimum suitable distance between installations buildings.

noise pollution analysis of wind turbines in rural areas

this paper is mainly focused on noise pollution problems related to the use of wind turbines. the installed turbines are vestas v52 and the farm map under study is a typical rural area in south italy, in which a wind farm has been recently installed and made operative. since the area is rural and the number of vehicles per hour is negligible, noise emitted by roads does not affect the predictio...

Noise Spectra from Wind Turbines

This paper presents observations of audio noise in frequency range 20-20 000 Hz from wind turbines. The observations were performed around the theoretically calculated 40 dBA noise perimeter around the wind turbine farm at Oxhult, Sweden. This paper describes a newly designed and constructed a field qualified data acquisition system to measure spectra and total noise level of sound from wind tu...

Unsteady aerodynamic analysis for offshore floating wind turbines under different wind conditions.

A free-vortex wake (FVW) model is developed in this paper to analyse the unsteady aerodynamic performance of offshore floating wind turbines. A time-marching algorithm of third-order accuracy is applied in the FVW model. Owing to the complex floating platform motions, the blade inflow conditions and the positions of initial points of vortex filaments, which are different from the fixed wind tur...
